Mercer to Host Spring Tune Up Camp on Jan. 19

Mercer Baseball welcomes prospective players for one-day camp
MACON, Ga. – Mercer will host its 2019 Baseball Spring Tune Up Prospect Camp at OrthoGeorgia Park on Saturday, Jan. 19, head coach Craig Gibson announced Monday.

The camp is for all interested baseball players in ninth grade and older. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a cost of $160. Campers will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities with fielding, throwing, pitching and hitting drills as well as the 60-yard dash. All registered players will be provided lunch in the school cafeteria and will get a tour of Mercer's campus.

The camp will be led by Mercer's coaching staff, which has led the Bears to three NCAA Tournament appearances since 2010 and three Southern Conference regular season championships in the last four years.

All campers are required to bring the following items:

All camps hosted by Mercer's 18 intercollegiate athletics programs are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
