| Â ADVISING |
- Academic Advisor: Every student at Mercer will have a faculty advisor assigned to them from within their major. They are required to meet with their faculty advisor twice a year to receive information on course selection for the upcoming semester.
- Athletic Advisor: Student-athletes are also assigned an athletic advisor through SASS who will assist with academic success, class scheduling, NCAA eligibility requirements/Progress-Toward-Degree. The athletic advisor will also provide coaches with academic updates and inform on-campus offices of athletic travel schedules.
|
| Â TUTORING |
- Tutoring provides individualized, subject specific instruction and assistance to the student-athlete. Tutoring can be utilized through the Academic Resource Center and/or the SASS department
|
| Â STUDY HALL |
- The SASS department will work with head coaches from each sport to decide on required study hall hours for each student-athlete. All freshmen will be required to complete six (6) hours of study hall each week in assigned locations; SASS recommends that all first-year transfer students complete four (4) hours of study hall in assigned locations to assist with the transition to Mercer.

- Willet Science Center, Rooms 103, 104, 110: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00p-9:00p
|
| Â PRIORITY REGISTRATION |
- Student-athletes are part of a select group that are allowed to register for classes before the rest of the general student body. This allows student-athletes to select courses around their practice and competition schedule, in hopes of eliminating as many practice conflicts as possible.

SASS will set up book pick-up nights for all student-athletes on book scholarship. Graduate students on book scholarship will have their course materials ordered through the SASS department.Â
