A dedicated advocate of student-athlete achievement, Lewis Ashe begins his second year in the Mercer athletics department in 2024-25 as an Academic Advisor for Student-Athlete Support for the Bears.

A two-time graduate of Mercer, Ashe served the academic support needs of MU’s men’s lacrosse and softball squads during the 2023-24 athletic season, and took on his new role prior to the current year. He frequently leads recruitment meetings with potential student-athletes and their families, and is has been charged with the academic success of nearly 80 student-athletes.

Possessing an array of experience throughout the music and entertainment industry, Ashe served a 1-year stint as an intern with the Bragg Jam Music Festival board where he created marketing campaigns and content for print and digital outlets, while also assisting with the management of partner relationships. An accomplished guitarist, he is also the owner and operator of Ashe Entertainment, LLC which specializes in the services of live music and entertainment.

The Columbus, Ga., product also works as showrunner for the Macon City Amphitheater, Auditorium, and the Centerplex.

Ashe earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mercer in 2023, and completed his master’s of business administration at MU in May 2024.
