Mercer Baseball to Host Prospect Camp on January 11

MACON, Ga. - Mercer's 2020 Baseball Spring Tune Up Prospect Camp is set for Saturday, January 11^th at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field.

The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a cost of $160. Campers will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities with fielding, throwing, pitching and hitting drills as well as the 60-yard dash. All registered players will be provided lunch in the school cafeteria and will get a tour of Mercer's campus.

The camp will be led by Mercer's coaching staff, which has led the Bears to four NCAA Tournament appearances since 2010 and four Southern Conference Championships in the five seasons. Mercer has had 28 NCAA All-Americans and have had 44 players drafted since 2006.

All campers are required to bring the following items:

Glove
Cleats
Hat
Batting gloves
Bat
Tennis shoes

All camps hosted by Mercer's 18 intercollegiate athletics programs are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
