Fifteen Schools Vie For Title
Macon, Ga.—The Mercer women's golf team will welcome 14 other schools to the Brickyard Golf Club (6000 Wesleyan Drive) in Macon for the Mercer Invitational, Monday Oct. 31-Tuesday Nov. 1.
It's the only home tournament, and final tournament of the fall for the Bears. The event will be 54 holes with 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
Coach Michele Drinkard will have Camilla Järvelä, Kate Song, Carol Pyon, Tracy Rodriguez, and Mikayla Dubnik competing in the team competition for Mercer. Hailey Katona will be playing as an individual and her score will not count toward the Bears' team total.
Play will begin each day with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The Field: Daytona State; Eastern Kentucky; Florida Gulf Coast; Florida International; Georgia State; Jacksonville; Lamar; Mercer; Morehead State; Samford; Seminole State; Stetson; Texas-El Paso; Troy; and Wofford.
