Athlon Sports Names Devron Harper to All-America Team

MACON, Ga. - Athlon Sports named Mercer wide receiver Devron Harper to the All-America Team it announced on Tuesday.

Harper has been named an All-American via numerous media outlets this postseason, such as the Associated Press (AP), Bluebloods, and Stats Perform.

Third Team AP All-American, First Team All-American: Stats Perform and Bluebloods.
Was a unanimous First Team All-SoCon selection by the coaches and media.
Walter Payton Award Finalist (FCS Offensive Player of the Year).
Harper broke six school records throughout the season.
Finished the season with a conference-leading 16 total touchdowns including 10 receiving, four rushing touchdowns, one kickoff return for a touchdown, and one punt return for a touchdown.
He finished with a school record 78 receptions to go with 987 receiving yards.
His 1,878 all-purpose yards this season set a school record and ranked fourth in the country.
Led the SoCon with an average of 29.1 yards per kick return.
Had an 87-yard punt return for a touchdown against VMI, the longest punt return in school history.
