
39 Student-Athletes Earn 2022 Fall Academic All-SoCon Honor Roll

All six Fall athletic programs had student-athletes represented
MACON, Ga. -Â Mercer University placed 39Â student-athletes on the 2022 Fall Academic All-Southern Conference Team, the league announced Thursday.

All six of Mercer's Fall athletic programs had at least one student-athlete make the Academic All-Conference team, led by football and men's soccer who each had 10 selections.
Four Mercer student-athletes maintained a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA: Vladimir Zandler-Velloso (men's cross country), Penelope Jackson (women's cross country), Liam Coxhead (men's soccer), and Annie Karle (volleyball).

To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average at the conclusion of the fall semester and were required to compete in at least one-half of their teams' competitions during the recently concluded campaign. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their institutions, making true freshmen and first-year transfers ineligible for inclusion.
