Orange Team Wins Game Two of Fall World Series

MACON – Outfielder Max Kops hit two home runs and recorded three RBI in the Orange Team's 6-3 win over the Black Team in Mercer baseball's Fall World Series.

Jess Ackerman pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts for the Orange. Kops was aided by Ty Dalley and Brandon Prince who both went 2-for-3 at the plate.

For the Black Team, Garrett Lambert pitched two scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Parker Lester hit a 2-run homerun, and Reid Brown added a solo home run of his own.

Game three of the series is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today.
