2023 Home Football Game Times Announced

MACON, Ga. - Kickoff times for Mercer's five home football games this fall were announced on Thursday.

Before the home opener, Mercer opens the season on August 26 in the 2023 FCS Kickoff against North Alabama on ESPN. That game is followed by a trip to Oxford, Mississippi to take on Ole Miss on September 2.

The Bears will play their home opener, on September 9 versus Morehead State. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Five Star Stadium.

Mercer opens SoCon play at Furman on September 23. Following the game at the Paladins, the Bears will play their first home SoCon game against VMI on September 30 at 4 p.m.

Mercer's will play consecutive home games against Chattanooga on October 14 and Wofford on October 21 which are each scheduled for 4 p.m.

Mercer will wrap up its home slate against the defending SoCon Champions Samford on November 11 at 3 p.m.

"We are really excited about this upcoming season," said head coach Drew Cronic. "We are most excited about the five opportunities we have to play in front of our home crowd! Five Star Stadium is the best game day environment in the Southern Conference, and we expect it to be even more exciting this year. We need everyone here, every week, ready to be loud. We can't wait to get it all going!"

"The enthusiasm around Mercer Football and the Gameday Experience is at an all-time high!" said Daniel Tate, Mercer Associate AD for External Operations. "Last year we saw record numbers for attendance from the Middle Georgia Community. We are trending to break that record again this year! With a limited number of season tickets available, we encourage fans to purchase today."

Season ticket packages start as low as $50 during the Early Bird Special which ends April 30. Prices will increase starting May 1.
