Mercer to Hold Watch Party for NCAA Selection Show

MACON, Ga. – Mercer, which captured its second consecutive Southern Conference Championship on Sunday, will host a watch party for the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament Selection Show at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13 at Margarita's Mexican Grill at Mercer Village.

The Bears defeated UNCG in a penalty shootout at Stone Soccer Stadium in Greenville, N.C., earning the SoCon's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. This is the second year in-a-row that Mercer advanced to the Big Dance after winning on penalty kicks. The Bears will learn their first round opponent, location and date during Monday's selection show. The selection show will begin at 1 p.m. and stream live on NCAA.com. Members of the Mercer Men's Soccer team will be present at Margarita's for the show.
