Wednesday Baseball Game Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather

Mercer’s home contest vs. Georgia State cancelled

MACON, Ga. – Mercer's nonconference home game against Georgia State at 6 p.m. Wednesday has been cancelled due to expected inclement weather in the Macon area.

Head coach Craig Gibson made the decision late Tuesday night following the Bears' 10-4 win at in-state rival Kennesaw State. Mercer (25-6, 5-1 Southern Conference) and the Panthers (11-17, 1-8 Sun Belt) will still face one another once this season, as they play Tuesday, April 11 at 6 p.m. in Atlanta.

A later date to reschedule the game to is trying to be determined by Mercer's coaching staff.

Mercer's next action will be Friday, April 7 as it hosts SoCon opponent Samford at OrthoGeorgia Park.
