Bear Field (Men's Soccer and Women's Soccer)
Bear Field is the home for both Mercer University's men's and women's soccer teams.
The facility features the perfect blend of rich Mercer athletics tradition, captured by the historic wrought iron gate entry, with the University's vision for growth and enhancement of its athletics program.
Comfortable seating for nearly 500 fans, a lighted field and completely enclosed venue give Bear Field a rustic charm that it can claim as its own. Located in the shadows of Mercer's medical and engineering schools, Bear Field helps tie MU athletics into the entire campus.
Bear Field underwent a $250,000 renovation over the summer of 2009. The facility was resurfaced in order to level the field and new grass was laid down to improve the quality of play.
Prior to the start of the 2017 season, Bear Field will undergo a second renovation, improving the press box and bench areas for the teams.
Both squads have enjoyed a sizable home field advantage at Bear Field over recent years. The men's side is 32-16-1 and the women's team is 40-12-5 in contests hosted at Bear Field since the start of the 2010 season.
