Ramiro Canovas graduated from Mercer in 2003 and was a member of the men's soccer program from 2000-03. He is a member of the Mercer Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Canovas scored 27 career goals and tallied 67 career points for the Mercer men’s soccer team, both of which rank fifth and sixth, respectively, in program history. In 2002, Canovas was tabbed as the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year. Canovas was additionally the Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year in 2000 and earned All-ASUN First Team and Second Team honors during his career.
