Bears Finish Sixth at AutoTrader.com Classic as Final Round Cancelled

DULUTH, Ga. – The final round of the AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic has been cancelled due to heavy rain and a tornado watch in the Duluth area.
The Bears's score of 572 on Monday earned the team a sixth-place finish, as UNC-Greensboro won the tournament with a 14-under par total of 562.
Emmanuel Kountakis recorded his third-straight Top 10 finish, carding a two-round score of 140 to place fourth overall. Sean Smothers joined Kountakis in the Top 10, firing a season-best 141 to place ninth.
Mercer will close out its 2014 fall schedule on October 25-26, as it competes in UNC-Greensboro's Bridgestone Classic at Grandover Resort.
