
Women's Tennis Falls to College of Charleston, 5-2

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer University women's tennis team fell 5-2 to the College of Charleston on Saturday morning at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.
The Bears started off with a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. The Cougars won the first five singles matches to clinch the match and take a 5-1 lead. Katia Stravroulaki played a long three-set match and won, wrapping up the match at 5-2.
Next up, Mercer will hit the road and take the short trip north to face Kennesaw State on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 11:00 a.m. in Kennesaw, Ga.
