
Women's Tennis Falls to ETSU in SoCon Tournament

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Mercer University women's tennis team fell to ETSU, 4-0, in the Southern Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Friday afternoon. The Bears finished the season with a 7-14 record.
ETSU won the doubles point with wins at flights two and three to take a 1-0 lead on the day. The Bucs followed with singles wins at flights six, five and four to clinch the match.
At the time the match was called, Katia Stravroulaki and Grace Korta were playing their seconds sets and Xandra Fougner was fighting hard in a tiebreaker for her first set.
