Bears tied for seventh after 36 holes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Mercer Women's Golf finished the second round of the Cardinal Cup Saturday in a tied for seventh at the University of Louisville Golf Club.

Carol Pyon led the charge for the Bears in the second round, shooting a two-under 70 to draw back even on the tournament and finish the day in seventh on the individual leaderboard.

Mercer is paired with Wisconsin, Kansas and Middle Tennessee in the final round Sunday. The Bears will tee off at 9 a.m. with Pyon, Hrindova, Schanen, Rodriguez and Lightfritz on holes 4B, 5, 6, 7A and 7B, respectively.
