Mercer Baseball Inks Nine

MACON, Ga. – Mercer head baseball coach Craig Gibson has announced the signing of nine student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

The program will add nine student-athletes next August in Caleb Bohn, Declan Champey, Jackson Cherry, Wes Franklin, Leo Giannoni, Henry Gies, Trevor Rider, Garrett Sloan and Sam Stewart.

We are thrilled the Virginia product will bring his talents to Macon for the next four years."

Trevor has developed a baseball savvy playing so many games for the P27 Academy. We are excited Trevor has decided to wear the Bears uniform starting in August."

Garrett has outstanding athleticism and has a high ceiling on the mound – he's also a three-sport star at Terrell Academy."
