Coach Kayden's Take
"The guys had a very solid day and played the par fours excellently; we lead the field in par-four scoring after day one," said head coach Kirk Kayden. "I'm proud of our team for hanging with some great competition…this is a field that has six teams in the top 30 of the nation.
"There are two rounds to go, but we had an outstanding first day. Stanton had a quality day, but this was a steady team effort from all of our guys. We'll focus on consistency the rest of the weekend."
