Janiga Ties for Seventh to Lead Mercer at Clover Cup

Bears take seventh behind third-round 298

MESA, Ariz. – The Mercer women's golf team shot a third-round 298 to finish seventh overall at the Notre Dame-hosted Clover Cup on Sunday at the Longbow Golf Club.

Mercer finished 49-over-par after shooting 310-305-298 and was led by senior Mary Janiga, who tied for seventh with a +5 (78-70-73) performance over 54 holes. Laila Hrindova (individual) and Lauren Lightfritz both shot even-par 72 in the third round and joined Janiga in the top 40 individually.
