Bears Welcome Kennesaw State for In-State Battle

Mercer back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday
MACON, Ga. – Mercer will play its fourth straight home game on Tuesday when it hosts Kennesaw State in a Peach State contest at OrthoGeorgia Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. (ET). The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+. Mercer (16-20) is coming off a win in its series finale against Western Carolina on Saturday. The Owls are 17-20 overall heading into Tuesday's clash.
MIDWEEK LINEUP
The Owls are 17-20 overall heading into Tuesday's contest and have yet to win an in-state contest this season, falling to Georgia (twice), Georgia Tech (twice), Georgia State and Georgia Southern. A win over Florida Gulf Coast on the back end of a doubleheader last Saturday helped Kennesaw State avoid a weekend sweep.
Kennesaw State's bats are hitting a collective .278, led by Terrence Norman, who owns a .323 average and 24 runs batted in. The Owls have hit 28 home runs through 37 games.
