COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"The guys struggled as a team today. We had some bad holes to start and specifically struggled on 13 and 15. It was a rough start with some doubles and triples that we were just never able to recover from. We were just a little bit off which resulted in a frustrating day for Mercer. We have to bounce back and put this behind us. We need to come out with a fresh mindset and erase what happened today and move on to tomorrow. You've got to forget about the bad, remember the good and come out and play with confidence."
Up Next
Mercer continues the Tiger Invitational on Monday as the Bears will tee off with Morehead State, Southern Miss and Kennesaw State from 9:39-10:15 a.m.
