Baseball announces summer camp dates for July
MACON, Ga. – Mercer Baseball has announced its dates for the upcoming summer camps in July.
Â
Mercer will continue to follow the COVID-19 guidelines when it comes to participating in organized sports and camps. We will be monitoring that it is safe for all campers.
Â
Mercer will hold two sessions of summer camps this year, first from July 13-17 and again July 20-24. The camp will be hosted at Claude Smith Field. Campers will enjoy a week-long camp, which will run each day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and be full of baseball instruction and games.
Â
Each camper will need to provide their own lunch, but concessions will be available during camp hours. Campers will also need to bring swimming trunks so they can swim at the pool on campus. Due to COVID-19, we will be monitoring the pool accessibility to make sure it is safe for all campers.
Â
All campers are required to bring the following items:
The goal of the Mercer Fun Camp is for the children to enjoy themselves and have a great time with their friends from the local community. The children will be grouped based on age and athletic ability to make sure that they are amongst peers during games and drills.
The Fun Camp is for boys and girls ages 5-14 and will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from July 27-31. On Friday, the camp will end at noon. Each camper will need to provide their own lunch.
To register for the baseball camps or fun camp, click here, or visit craiggibsonbaseball.com. For further questions and details, please contact Craig Gibson at (478) 301-2396 or Gibson_C@mercer.edu
All camps hosted by Mercer's 18 intercollegiate athletics programs are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
