Bears record best career team single record

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mercer women's golf team finished in third place at the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by The University of Missouri. In the third round, the Bears recorded their best career team single round, 276 (-12). Hailey Katona made history, shooting 65 (-7) in the third round.

"Major accomplishments today for our program with Hailey firing a record 65 and the team recording a 12 under par single round," said Head Coach Michele Drinkard. "We knew we were getting closer to putting our scoring together as a team. Paying more attention to the details allowed us to that, in record fashion. This is the best group of athletes our program has put together and I like where we are heading. Look out for these Bears."
