Mercer And ETSU Square Off
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's soccer team concludes its regular season hosting the East Tennessee State Buccaneers on Saturday Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. The Bears will also salute 12 senior players prior to the game.

SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
The Bears are 7-8-5 against ETSU in a series that dates back to 2009. The most recent game, Sept. 25 last year resulted in a scoreless tie. Of the 20 games, 16 have been decided by one goal, or been tied. The Bears last win over East Tennessee came in the 2017 Southern Conference Championship semi-finals. After scoreless regulation and overtime, the Bears won 4-3 in penalty kicks, and went on to claim the Conference Championship. ETSU's last win in the series was Mar. 16, 2021 1-0 in Macon.
NOTABLES
ETSU comes in tied for the conference lead with North Carolina-Greensboro with a conference mark of 3-0-1. They've outscored opponents 26-11. Four of the goals ETSU has given up, have come on penalty kicks. Kieran Richards leads the conference with 11 goals and 25 points. He's also had the most shots with 53. Goalkeeper Cole Hunter tops the SoCon with seven shutouts. He also leads in goals against average (0.58) and save percentage (.806).
