
Bears See Success at NCAA South Region Championship

HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Mercer cross-country teams had another record-breaking weekend at the NCAA South Regional Championship today.
 "I'm proud of everything we have accomplished this season and it was great to end the season with a few more accolades," said head coach Josh Hayman. "We raced hard and left it all out on the course today."

MEN'S RACE (10K).
Men averaged 32:22 to get the Bears to 455 points. Vlad Zander-Velloso set another school record with a time of 31:00. Close behind the Bears were Reece Cato (32:06), Jonathan Greene (32:21), and Yianni Pothoulakis (32:21). Pothoulakis set a new 10K school record for a freshman.Â
