MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Mercer women's golf team closed out play at the 2022 Southern Conference Championship by finishing third at The Dye Golf Club at Barefoot Resort on Wednesday April, 19th. The Bears tied their best finish at the conference tournament since joining the SoCon in 2014-15 after finishing third in 2018 and 2021 as well. Freshman Kate Song posted her best finish of year at the conference tournament by tying for an impressive fifth place spot closing out the week at 7-over par. Senior Carol Pyon and sophomore duo of Euijin Pyon and Hailey Katona closed out the tournament in the top-20 at T15th, T17th and T19th, respectively. Freshman Mikayla Dubnik closed out lineup not to far behind them and finished T24.
