Kate Vanderlinde Named Big South Defensive Player Of The Week

Vanderlinde allowed just two goals in the win against Radford
MACON, Ga. - Mercer women's lacrosse goalie Kate Vanderlinde was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week for the week of April 17-23 as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
This is Vanderlinde's first Big South Defensive Player of the Week recognition this season.
In last week's Senior Day win over Radford, Vanderlinde allowed a season-low two goals to go with five saves. She had a .714 save percentage which was her second highest save percentage of the season.
This season Vanderlinde leads the Big South with a goals against average of 9.07. That is also the 13th best goals against average in the country.
