Women's Lacrosse With 18 Players Named To IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's lacrosse team along with 18 of its student-athletes received academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday afternoon.Â
The team was named a 2023 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad and 18 student-athletes were named to the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
For a team to be named an Academic Honor Squad they must have posted a 3.2 team cumulative GPA or higher for the 2022-23 academic year. The team finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.678.
Student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater. There were 941 student-athletes from 96 different institutions named to the Academic Honor Roll.
