Football To Host Education Day On September 9

MACON – The 20th-ranked Mercer football team will welcome Middle Georgia-area students and faculty to campus on September 9 when the Bears play host to Morehead State at Five Star Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Students and faculty wishing to attend the game are entitled to free admission, and can obtain their complimentary ticket by visiting MercerBears.com/EducationDay and using the promo code "EDU2023" at checkout. All complimentary seats are located on the visitor side of the stadium, but guests can also use the code for a discounted rate on reserved seats as well.

Reserved-seat season tickets for the 2023 season have already gone on sale and the 5-game package can be purchased for as little as $85 for reserved seats and $50 for general admission seats at MercerBears.com/Tickets. The Bears (1-0) successfully opened their 2023 season on Saturday with a 17-7 victory over North Alabama in the FCS Kickoff Classic in Montgomery, Ala. Mercer will be back in action on Saturday when it treks to Oxford, Miss., to battle 22nd-ranked Ole Miss inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. ET.
