Tobias Jonsson Named To All-Southern Conference Team

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Mercer men's golf senior Tobias Jonsson was named to the 2024 All-Southern Conference Men's Golf Team that was announced on Tuesday by the league office.
Jonsson finished the Southern Conference Golf Championship tied for 6th place after shooting 6-under-par at the 7,174-yard, par-72 Reynolds Lake Oconee Course. Jonsson finished his final year of collegiate golf with two tournament victories at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational and the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational.
With the win at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, Jonsson received an exemption  in the 3M Open PGA tournament held held at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota. Jonsson will be the second golfer from Mercer to Participate in a PGA Tour Event.
