MACON – After powering the Mercer offense and helping the team post a perfect 4-0 week, Mercer shortstop Bradley Frye has been named the Southern Conference Baseball Player of the Week for all contests from Feb. 17-23, the league office announced Monday.Â
Â
Frye was outstanding across four games last week, going 11-for-17 at the plate for a .647 batting average. The senior scored six runs, drove in seven runs and smacked three doubles on the week, including a four hit, two double and three RBI day in the series finale against Kent State on Sunday.
