Mike Jacobs Coach’s Show To Begin On Thursday Evening

MACON – Mercer football head coach Mike Jacobs will join longtime Mercer Radio Network play-by-play announcer Rick Cameron on Thursday evening for the initial 2025 installment of the Mike Jacobs Coach's Show which will resume its perch on stage at the Wild Wing Café in north Macon.

Fans are encouraged to attend the live broadcast of the show which will be held every Thursday evening throughout the 2025 season from 7-8 p.m. at the Shoppes at River Crossing location. The show is slated to preview that week's opponent for the Bears, as well as highlight select players, coaches and members of the Mercer Football community.

Fans can also submit questions to be asked on the show by tagging #AskCoachJacobs on Twitter and Instagram posts. The show will broadcast on both 100.9 The Creek and SportsMic Radio. Those unable to attend can also watch live via the Mercer Football Facebook page.

The 11th-ranked Bears will lift the lid on their 52nd season of intercollegiate football on Saturday when they travel to Montgomery, Ala., to take on 7th-ranked UC Davis in the FCS Kickoff at the historic Cramton Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and the game will be nationally televised by ESPN.
