Mercer Announces 2025 Community Partners Series

MACON – The Mercer athletics department will continue to recognize residents of Middle Georgia throughout the 2025 football season as part of its Community Partners Series schedule that was announced on Thursday evening.

Discounted tickets and other special promotions will be offered to select cities and counties as part of the series which will kick off with Bibb County Night on August 30 when the 11th-ranked Bears battle Presbyterian at Five Star Stadium.

AUGUST 30 VS. PRESBYTERIAN (6 P.M.)
Bibb County Night/#478 Night
Tickets start at $4.78 Bibb County is the largest county in the Macon metropolitan area Macon is known as the "Heart of Georgia" due to its central location in the state Macon is home to the world's largest collection of ancient Native American artifacts at the Ocmulgee National Monument

SEPTEMBER 13 VS. WOFFORD (6 P.M.)
Perry Night
Located in both Houston and Peach counties and serves as county seat of Houston County Often referred to as the "Crossroads Of Georgia" due to its strategic location at intersection of major highways Best known for hosting the Georgia National Fair

OCTOBER 4 VS. SAMFORD (4 P.M.)
Peach County Day
Georgia's youngest county, created in 1924 from Houston and Macon counties by the state legislature Self-proclaimed "Peach Capital of the World" Home of the Blue Bird Body Company which is known for its yellow school buses

OCTOBER 25 VS. VMI (3 P.M.)
Warner Robins Day/Jones County Day
Warner Robins is home to the Museum of Aviation which honors the history of military aviation Warner Robins is widely known as the "International City" of Georgia as it is home to Robins Air Force Base which is the United States Air Force's largest training installation Jones County served as the center for peach and pepper production for much of the 20th century Known for its fertile land, it was prime cotton land in the 19th century

NOVEMBER 15 VS. CHATTANOOGA (3 P.M.)
Monroe County Day
County is named after James Monroe, the 5th president of the United States Forsyth serves as the county seat County spans 398 square miles, 99 percent of which is land (0.5% water)
