Decisive Plays:
The Citadel led wire-to-wire after a pair of RBI singles by Michael Gibson and Zach Hunt provided the Bulldogs with a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Michael Graziano cut The Citadel's advantage in half with a sacrifice fly before the Bulldogs plated five runs in the top of the third. Chris Katz mashed a 419-foot home run (23) in the home half of the frame. Christian Stratis hit a solo home run (4) in the top of the sixth before The Citadel added on six runs in the top of the seventh. Graziano launched a 420-foot home run (7) to left field and Brant Baughcum drove in a run with an RBI single before the Bulldogs recorded the final out of the game.
