2016 at Mercer: Emerged as Mercer's top arm and Friday starter during an impressive junior campaign... Made 16 starts, which was tied for eighth in the nation... Went 6-3 overall with a 3.90 ERA while leading the team in innings pitched (101.2) and quality starts (11)... Struck out 65 batters while allowing only 18 walks and limited opponents to a .262 batting average... Was at his best in league play, earning all six of his wins against SoCon foes... Threw 13 innings over two starts in SoCon Championship play while striking out seven and allowing only three runs... Tossed a season-high eight innings in two starts, including a Feb. 26 start when he limited Xavier to one hit while striking out nine batters... Picked up the win against The Citadel in the SoCon Championship opener, keeping the Bulldogs scoreless through five innings of work.
2015 at Mercer: Served as a weekend starter for the Bears during most of his sophomore season … Appeared in 17 games with 11 starts on the mound … Tied for third on the team with four victories … Compiled a 4-4 record with a 6.75 ERA … Started the year 2-0 after giving up just one earned run in his first 12.1 innings of action … Struck out 31 batters … Ranked fifth on the team with 49.1 innings of work … Recorded two quality starts … Pitched six scoreless innings in the Bears’ shutout victory of The Citadel (Apr. 4).
2014 at Mercer: One of the Atlantic Sun’s top freshmen in 2014 … Had a breakout year as a mid-week starter … Appeared in 22 games with nine starts on the mound … Finished 3-3 with a 3.54 ERA … Ranked second on the team with 68.2 innings pitched … Struck out 49 batters … Ranked fourth in the conference in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.5) and walks per nine innings (1.4) … Made two quality starts on the season … Threw seven scoreless frames and fanned six en route to first collegiate victory during Mercer’s 3-0 shutout of Florida A&M … Hurled two relief innings in a 4-1 victory over Georgia Tech (Mar. 25) en route to second win of 2014 … Picked up third win of the year after giving up two runs in five innings during a 6-5 defeat of Georgia State (May 13).
High School: Earned two varsity letters at Collins High School under head coach Paul Pierce … Was named to the 2013 GHSA All-Star Team as well as the Georgia Dugout Club’s Top-100 Team as a senior … Recorded back-to-back All-Region 7-AAAAA first team selections … Was ranked as the 34th-best player in the state of Georgia as a senior according to BaseballScoutz.com.
