SEASON-BY-SEASON
2016 at Mercer: Appeared in 46 games along with 21 starts, primarily as a designated hitter and backup catcher … Batted .295 with 23 hits … Scored 15 times to go along with 20 RBIs and six home runs … Drew 26 walks to post team's second-best on-base percentage (.481) … Got off to a hot start, slugging three home runs in Mercer's first four games … Recorded career-high three hits in two games against Radford (Feb. 21) and Furman (April 23) … Set another career-high with four RBIs at Florida A&M (May 11) … Had six multi-RBI games … Finished SoCon Championship play with three hits and three RBIs.
2015 at Mercer: Served as the Bears’ back-up catcher and as a designated hitter during his first season with the Bears … Appeared in 29 games with nine starts … Hit .154 on the year … Tallied four extra base hits including two home runs and two doubles … Had a pair of multiple-hit performances and three multiple-RBI efforts … Finished with six bases on balls … Posted an on-base percentage of .306 and a slugging percentage of .359 … Also scored six runs and tallied three sacrifice hits … Recorded a career day against ETSU, going 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk … Drew a season-high two walks in the season opener against Virginia Tech.
2014 at St. John’s River State: Led team to a 37-14 overall record including a 20-4 mark in conference play … Played in 45 games as the team’s primary catcher … Hit .230 with seven extra-base hits on the season … Finished third on the team with five home runs … Drove in 23 runs and drew 17 walks … Scored 32 runs on the year … Named the program’s John C. Tindall Scholarship recipient in 2014.
2013 at St. John’s River State: Helped team to a 38-18 overall record and an 18-6 mark in league action … Played in 24 games for the Vikings … Tallied seven hits with two home runs, one double and seven RBI … Drew five walks … Also notched 15 putouts on the season.
High School: Earned four varsity letters for head coach Jason Dewitt at Lake Wales High School … Named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2011 and 2012 … Helped lead the Highlanders to a pair of district championships as well as a regional runner-up finish in 2012 … Graduated from Lake Wales with honors.
