2010 (Redshirt Junior): Bounced back after a down sophomore campaign with the best season of his Mercer career to date … Appeared in 61 games, making 58 starts … Served primarily as the Bears everyday left fielder, but also logged five starts as a DH … Hit .292 on the year with career-high totals in runs scored (39), hits (63), doubles (15), home runs (9) and RBI (49) … Ranked third on the team with eight sacrifice bunts and tied for third with 27 walks … Led all outfielders with a .989 fielding percentage … Accumulated 18 multi-hit and 13 multi-RBI contests in 2010, including three performances with at least two hits and four RBI … Finished sixth on the squad with a .495 slugging percentage … Went 4-for-11 with a home run and nine RBI in the season-opening four-game series against Morehead State (Feb. 19-21) … Had a 2-for-3 day at the dish with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI against Chicago State (March 7) … Went off going 6-for-14 with a triple, four runs scored, two home runs and four RBI in a key A-Sun series at ETSU (April 16-17) … Tied his season-high with four RBI in the Bears 13-7 NCAA Atlanta Regional victory over Elon (June 5).
