The Mercer women's golf team is fortunate to have available one of Georgia's most prestigious golf clubs as its primary practice facility. The Idle Hour Club was originally opened in 1912 and is designed by the legendary Donald Ross. It is comprised of beautifully manicured Georgia landscape interspersed with Bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways. The 18-hole golf course sets up for the women’s golf team as 6,006 yards of challenging play, equating to a par-72 layout. Idle Hour has a state-of-the-art Learning Center with a large driving range. A six-hole Par 3 golf course is located at the Learning Center. The holes on the Par 3 golf course range from 81 to 138 yards in length.
Healy Point Golf Club
Healy Point features 18 holes of championship golf with Bermuda greens and Bermuda fairways. The gently rolling terrain creates a unique course with no parallel fairways. Designed by Gary Player, the course is combination of beauty and challenge. The modern, fully equipped Pro Shop is staffed by P.G.A. Professionals offering instruction, practice range, practice greens, and bunkers. Expertly groomed, the panoramic beauty of the course is heightened by an abundance of natural wildlife.

Oakview Golf and Country Club offers 18 holes of spectacular golf in the South. You will not only have the time of your life golfing, but also be able to experience true Southern hospitality at our Country Club. Oakview was established in 1996 and has been one of the top semi-private golf courses in the Middle Georgia since its opening. Oakview also offers other amenities such as a driving range, putting green, pool, and bar and grill.
