Matt Badik joined Mercer University as the Assistant Director of Compliance in September 2015.
Badik comes to Mercer from Belmont, where he served as a the Compliance Office intern while working on his master’s degree in Sport Administration. While at Belmont, Badik’s responsibilities included evaluating initial-eligibility forms and managing countable athletically related activities for all 15 sports.
Prior to his time at Belmont, Badik attended Ohio Northern Univeristy, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management. During his final semester of school, Badik worked at The University of Findley as an intern in the athletic department.
Badik has spent time working with the Ohio Northern football team, the Toledo Mud Hens and the St. John’s Jesuit High School athletic department. He has also volunteered his time with organizations and events that include the NCAA Women’s Final Four, Hands on Nashville and the Ohio Special Olympics.
