2010 (Junior): Had another solid season serving as a steady and dependable player in right field for Coach Gibson … One of only two Bears to appear and start in all 62 games last season … Batted cleanup for the majority of the season and didn’t disappoint setting new season-bests in batting average (.314), home runs (9), RBI (67) and doubles (23) … Ranked fourth in the A-Sun in RBI and sixth in the conference in doubles … Led the team with 33 walks and led all outfielders with five assists … Finished fourth on the squad with 81 hits and 131 total bases … His 81 hits rank as the eight-most hits accumulated in a single-season in Mercer history … Had 20 multi-hit games and 19 multi-RBI games … Tied a career-best by ripping off a 12-game hitting streak from Feb. 19-March 7, hitting .460 during that span … Opened the 2010 season in style smashing two home runs against Morehead State (Feb. 19) for his first career multi-HR game … Put together one of his most complete games of the season against Chicago State (March 7), going 5-for-6 with four doubles, five RBI and a career-best four runs scored … Set a career-high by collecting six RBI in a 17-2 win over Florida A&M (March 16) … Went 2-for-5 with three RBI in the A-Sun Championship game against Jacksonville (May 29) … Propelled Mercer to an NCAA Tournament win over Elon (June 5) by going 3-for-4 with a home run four RBI and three runs scored.
2009 (Sophomore): Appeared and started in all 45 games … One of five returning Bears to bat over .300 for the season, finishing up with a .303 clip … Finished second on the team with 38 RBI … Clubbed eight home runs on the season, four of which coming in A-Sun play … Ranked fourth on the team with 56 hits and 31 runs scored … Hit .329 (23-70) with runners in scoring position and tied for second on the team with 15 two-out RBI … Went 4-for-10 with two RBI and three runs scored in the Bears doubleheader sweep of Bryant (Feb. 28) … Put together a 12-game hitting streak from March 21- April 9, hitting at a .346 clip during that span … Had a huge game against College of Charleston (April 8), going 2-for-6 with a home run and a career-high four RBI in the Bears 16-12 win … Set another new career-high with five hits in a perfect 5-for-5 day at the plate against Stetson (April 11) … Hit a home run in back-to-back games against Kennesaw State (April 18) and Florida A&M (April 21) … Went 4-for-9 with four RBI and three runs score in Mercer’s doubleheader sweep of Belmont (May 15).
2008 (Freshman): Appeared in 30 games, starting 18 … Used primarily as a designated hitter … Collected a hit and a run in first appearance at Mercer against Clemson (2/23) … Earned first start in second half of a double header against Clemson, going 1-for-4 and scoring a run … Tallied a career-high four hits while driving in three runs against Campbell (3/1) … Went 3-for-5 in consecutive games against Bethune-Cookman (3/12) and ETSU (3/14) … Went 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBI while notching his first career home run against Georgia Tech (4/22) … Earned a place on the A-Sun All-Academic team.
