Before turning pro in 2024, Campbell completed one of the best collegiate careers in Creighton men’s golf history. A native of Tauranga, New Zealand, Campbell became a Bluejay ahead of the 2021 season. Campbell competed in just five events in his first year in Omaha, Nebraska, and finished the season with a 73.20 scoring average, the third-best mark on the team. Campbell capped off his first season at Creighton by becoming the first out-of-state player to win the Nebraska State Amateur since 1992 in 2022. The following year, Campbell earned his first individual victory at the Big O Classic with a score of six under par. Campbell finished the season leading the Bluejays with a 73.80 stroke average and did not miss a single round.
Campbell’s senior season at Creighton cemented himself in the Bluejays’ record books. Campbell represented the Bluejays on the All-BIG EAST First Team after leading his squad with a 72.04 stroke average across 27 rounds, the third-best scoring average in program history since at least 2003. Campbell earned his second individual victory at the Throwdown Up Top at Landmand, leading Creighton to its first team win since 2021. Campbell was named to the All-BIG EAST Tournament after carding Creighton’s best individual finish at the BIG EAST Tournament since 2007, when he finished as the runner-up in the event.
