Having already attained a wealth of experience in similar positions at West Georgia across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, Annalise Dansby begins her first season at Mercer in 2026-27 as the on-campus recruiting coordinator for the Bears.

Dansby joined the football staff at UWG as a football recruiting intern prior to the 2024 campaign where she was charged with organizing and coordinating football recruits during game days and events, while also heading up campus tours and admissions process concerns. She was promoted to director of on-campus recruiting for the Wolves at season’s end and took on a wealth of new duties, including the organization of all official and unofficial visits.

An active member of West Georgia’s chapter of Phi Mu throughout her undergraduate career at the institution, Dansby excelled in a brief stint as the sorority’s social media chairwoman and later undertook an elevated role as the organization’s recruitment chairwoman. Her duties in both positions centered around the sorority’s public relations efforts, including social media strategy.

A native of Columbus, Ga., Dansby earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from West Georgia in December 2025. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Mercer.
