Joe Robinson, MD is a native of Macon, Georgia and joined the Mercer Medicine team in 2018. Dr. Robinson played football as an undergraduate at University of the South, where he was a starter at defensive end. His clinical sports medicine experience includes serving as assistant team physician at East Carolina University, providing medical coverage for the Nashville Rock ‘N Roll Marathon, and performing sports physicals for Vanderbilt University. In 2020, Dr. Robinson was Runner Up for the Best Sports Medicine Practice in the “Best of Macon.” Dr. Robinson also serves as an assistant professor of internal medicine at Mercer School of Medicine.
