Jacob Street begins his first season on head coach MikeRaynor’s staff as a graduate assistant in the Bears’Athletic Department.

Street is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia,receiving degrees in Sports and Business Management. He will focushis efforts on the Bears’ catchers as well as general teamduties this spring. The native of Conyers, Ga. played high schoolbaseball and football at Salem High School and graduated in2005.

Street then went on to play junior college baseball at YoungHarris College from 2006-2007. His 2007 Young Harris team played inthe JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.
