Dominique Woods is in her fourth year as Football Operations Director at Mercer University after being hired by head coach Bobby Lamb prior to the 2016 season. Woods was originally with Mercer from 2013-15 when she held the roles of Marketing Graduate Assistant and Football Operations Assistant.

Woods coordinates & finalizes travel arrangements, oversees successful completion of student-athlete responsibilities, serves as a central communicator within the football office & as a liaison between student-athletes & athletics administration members. She was one of 40 women selected to participate in the National Football League's third annual Women's Careers in Football Forum in February 2019.

In between her two stints at Mercer, Woods served as the Director of Operations for Kennesaw State’s track & field program from August 2015 to July 2016.

Woods first arrived at Mercer in August 2013 as a Marketing Graduate Assistant. Her responsibilities included coordinating promotions for football and M/W basketball games and integrating sponsorship elements into game production to ensure fulfillments, among other duties.

Woods was a decorated track & field athlete at Shorter University (Ga.), where she was a two-time NAIA Indoor Track All-American in the triple jump & a two-time NAIA Outdoor Track All-American in the triple jump & 4x100-meter relay.

A dean’s list honoree in all eight of her semesters at Shorter, Woods earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Sport Management in 2012. She was heavily involved on campus as a member of the Shorter Orientation Staff (SOS), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Alpha Chi, Zeta Tau Alpha, Sigma Beta Delta, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and Fitton Activities Board (FAB). Woods later earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education Leadership at Mercer in 2014.
