LPGA Invitational Second Round Canceled

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The second round of the 2011 LPGA Invitational has been canceled due to heavy rain in the Daytona Beach area. The Mercer women's golf team remains in a tie for fifth place and awaits resumption of the tournament on Sunday.
Campbell leads the tournament field with a team score of 298 on Friday while Louisiana Monroe (304), Xavier (306) and Stetson (307) round out the top four teams. Mercer is tied with Daytona State with a tournament score of 310.
Sunday's action is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start.
