Friday Baseball Switched to Doubleheader

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Due to the threat of inclement weather in the Spartanburg area on Saturday, the USC Upstate Athletic Department announced a changed in the format for this weekend's baseball series between Mercer and USC Upstate at Harley Park.
The Bears and Spartans will play a doubleheader on Friday, with game one slated to start at 4:30 p.m. Game two is expected to begin at approximately 8 p.m. Sunday's game is still scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch.
