EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Mercer men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Bradley on Sunday afternoon to conclude play in the ProRehab Aces Soccer Classic.
After a scoreless first half, Bradley (3-4) took a 1-0 lead just 38 seconds into the second period. The Braves increased their lead to 2-0 in the 64th minute.
Jordan Duru put Mercer (4-4) on the board and moved the score to 2-1 in the 82nd minute off a great strike from outside the box that found the top corner of the net. Unfortunately, the Bears were unable to tie the game before the end of regulation.
