Men's Tennis Falls to Bucs

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis team fell to No. 63 ETSU, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.
"ETSU outplayed, outcoached and outmanned us today," said Head Coach Eric Hayes. "We just need to flush this out of our system because there is too much still ahead to play for tomorrow against Samford. We just didn't play well today, but hopefully we'll get to see ETSU again in the conference tournament."
Sam Philp and Anderson Scarpa won their doubles set, 8-6, for the Bears only win of the day.
The Bears will conclude the regular season against Samford on Saturday at 1 p.m. Mercer is also hosting alumni day on Saturday, welcoming back Bear alums to the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.
